Hey Johnny

Remember me? (Bogenhofen summer 1998), danish guy, different socks, red clothes, white hair. Studying german, cute norwegian girls and a weird guy from Italy called Emilio, who in six weeks managed to learn the two words “Ja” and “Nein”.

It was a great summer.

I really admire the “flat” organizational model of your plant. Very inspiring to see leadership mutual accountability shared in a team concept.

Please keep us informed on the progress. Southern California will be watching closely.

Yes, for now. Apparently, standard practice is to ordain one elder to begin with, and the Union nominated me. This makes me somewhat responsible towards the Union, but it doesn’t mean I have more power internally. Our elders’ team consists of four people, equally charged with leading the church spiritually. Practical leadership resides elsewhere… maybe I’ll do a post about our new structure later on.
